Terms of use

These terms apply to your use of BuddyOnSite, operated by 16500412 Canada Inc., doing business as Brilithic Technologies (“we”, “us”). Companies that subscribe to BuddyOnSite may also have a separate agreement with us. If that agreement conflicts with these terms, the agreement applies.

Your account

• Accounts are created by invitation from a company using BuddyOnSite. That company decides which projects you can see and can remove your access at any time.
• You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email or mobile number. Keep access to that email or phone secure, and don't share codes with anyone.
• Use BuddyOnSite only for work on the projects you were invited to, and don't try to access other companies' or projects' information.

Plans and acknowledgments

BuddyOnSite shows the current revision of each drawing and records when you open it. Opening the current revision of a sheet counts as acknowledging that you have received it, and your project's supers, owners and admins can see that record. BuddyOnSite helps teams work from the current drawings, but it does not replace the contract documents or your own professional judgment.

Text messaging terms

Program: BuddyOnSite account messages, sent by Brilithic Technologies.

• Sign-in codes: when you enter your mobile number to sign in, we text you a one-time 6-digit code. You only get a code when you ask for one.
• Invitations: when someone at a company using Field Hub invites you by mobile number, and confirms that you have agreed to receive texts from BuddyOnSite, we send you one text with your invitation link.

How you agree: by ticking the consent box next to your mobile number on the BuddyOnSite sign-in or invitation page (it is never ticked for you), or by agreeing with the person inviting you that Field Hub may text you your invitation, which they confirm when they send it. We keep a record of each consent: the number, the time, and the wording agreed to. Agreeing to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase.

Message frequency varies: typically one message each time you sign in or are invited. We don't send marketing texts.

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.

To stop: reply STOP to any message. We will confirm and stop texting that number. You can still sign in with your email address. To start again, reply START.

For help: reply HELP to any message, or email privacy@brilithic.ca.

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. How we handle your mobile number is described in our privacy policy. We never share your mobile number or text-message consent with third parties for marketing.

Changes

We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with a new effective date, and tell you in the app if the changes are significant.
